In addition to the answers I provided in the quiz/survey, here’s some better feedback.

I buy 2 x 15kg sacks of dog food when ever my mongrels manage to eat it all.

I buy them from Jolleys (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&sll=52.585934,-1.982283&sspn=0.536502,1.049194&q=Pet+Food,+Willenhall) which is relatively near where we live. Because supermarkets tend to be overpriced and only have small bags/packs, I will buy from them only out of desperation (Oh XXXX it’s too late to go to YYYY, and the dogs have no food….).

There was a great pet shop near where I used to work, that did VAT free ‘Working Dogs’ food, which my dogs seemed quite happy to eat – this would cost something like

    A working dog is just that . . . . a dog that works.

Dog food for working dogs is too high in protein for just pet dogs that spend most of their days lounging around and not being mentally challenged.

Dogs being fed on an diet high in protein (that does not need it) would be climbling the walls before long.
