Pubs that welcome dogs
Ever wish you could spend time with your mutts and go out? Cafe, restaurant, hotel or pub, there are just a few out there who’ll provide a genuine welcome for you and your hounds.
DoggiePubs.org.uk is an independent directory of pubs that meet three strict criteria:
- where good wines and beer are well kept
- where you can eat well
- where your well-behaved dog is welcome to be with you while you eat.
Their three-star rating system is based purely on their reviewers’ experiences; the site proudly states that no pub can pay to be included in the directory.
DoggiePubs.org.uk welcomes new supporters, who can even text their reviews direct to the website. The site appears to be currently maintained, with the most recent update made in October.

doggiepubs is agreat site but it would be nice to know the pubs where i can just get a drink after a nice long walk.
