Jamaican sled team comes 27th
Thursday, January 26th, 2006Devon Anderson, a Jamaican man who’d never seen snow before, has competed in the Aviemore Sled Dog Rally.
Having trained with dogs from Kingston’s dog shelter – Jamaica is too hot for Huskies – Devon and his dogs came 27th out of 40, completing the Loch Morlich course in 45 minutes, 51 seconds.
